“Good taste, great pairings with San Miguel Lifestyle Brews”

This is my entry about my favorite San Miguel Lifestyle Brews beer drinking experience. Before the actual story, I would first like to introduce myself. I am Camille Gabriel, 24 years old that lives in Paranaque City. I am a graduate of DLS-CSB, major in Culinary Arts. I don’t drink beer often, but when I do, I see to it that it’s of quality, which leads me to San Miguel Premium All Malt.

                Last year, January 25, 2012, was the 4^th anniversary of me and my boyfriend. As celebration, I cooked for the both of us. I specialize in pastries, specially making chocolate truffles and pralines, at that time. I made my sea-fruit salad for appetizer then Homemade Smoked Salmon for our entrée. For our dessert, I made 6 different types of praline (3 were alcoholic while the other 3 was non-alcoholic), one of which is flavoured with San Miguel Premium All Malt (I was supposed to use Cerveza Negra, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy it before hand). We really loved the combination of the two. It was smooth and it gave the praline that distinct taste that wasn’t just alcohol. TRY IT!!! :D You’ll be AMAZED! J

Jipan, Glorietta Branch... with Carolin and Arianna... :D

Hello there! :D

This is an entry about a day when my sister and I went to Glorietta to meet her best friend there because she will be spending a night in her place... #roomALONE :(

My sister asked me to accompany her in going to Glorietta to buy a bag and wait for her best friend, Arianna to arrive. Earlier that day, she asked permission from our parents if she could sleep over in Arianna's house; They allowed her. Anyhow, since she offered me a won't-be-able-to-refuse deal, i agreed... :) The deal was that she will treat me an early dinner... :D Haha! #freefoodTHEBEST

After purchasing a bag, my sister asked me where I wanted to eat; where I suggest that we eat... That time, I wanted a really good seafood ramen. There is only 1 place in Glorietta, for me, that serves the BEST RAMEN in TOWN: JIPAN! :D Not only that it tastes so goooood; one order is good for around 2-3 people... :D #sulitsarap! It's so perfect that time because all 3 of us were really hungry. :)

Eating @ Cafe Republiq... :D

Hello there! :D

One of our (my mom, my dad, me and my younger sister) hobbies during night time is EATING OUT... :D Haha! I know it's not that healthy, but what can I say, WE LOVE IT! :D

Shakey's, Mcdo and KFC are our usual midnight snack before... Lately, we've elevated a notch or two. Since we like watching movies at night, we go to Resorts World to cater our hunger for both movies and food... :) You're probably wondering why we do that during night time. Well, we don't really get to spend that much time during the day because:
1. My dad - running his own brokerage... :) Romeo Import Export Enterprise and Romeo G. Gabriel Customs Brokerage... :)     #prouddaughter!
2. My mom - either takes care of the house (while taking care of my two nephews) or she's with my dad (like a personal nurse)
3. Me - working?? :D Haha!
4. My younger sister - either in school or watching Korean  movies/series/shows... :D
So that's the reason why we bond during night time... :)

My sister and I's favorite restaurant in Resorts World is Mr. Kurasawa (but that's another entry..lol). But of course, since we are "eaters", we also try other restaurants, which leads me to "Cafe Republiq".

Eat Fresh = sulit sarap... :)

Hello there! :)

We (Filipinos) really love street food... It's staple; It's a part of us... :) I'm an eater of fishballs to kikiam to kwek kwek... :) I'm not that much of a fan of "isaw" (pork intestine) and "betamax" (pork blood) not unless we (my family) made it [food safety reasons... :D]. Anyhow...

My friends and I had dinner together. Before we did, they asked me what I wanted to eat (cause I'm kinda choosy with the food I eat). I really didn't have a budget for leisure eating, so i told them that I wanted good food that's pocket friendly. I wasn't choosy whether or not we've tried it before... :) [What's to be choosy about, right?? I didn't know the place and I didn't have a budget anyway... :D Haha! #poverty :D]

Since we were with someone that lives in QC, she gave us several options as to where my criteria fitted. She told us that we could visit those places then choose the best option for us... SO WE DID! :) Actually... NO, WE DIDN'T... :D Haha! The first place we went to was where we ate... :D [Didn't really have second thoughts, probably because I 'm a sucker for dumplings and the like... :D]

Eat Fresh at Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Quezon City... :)

They had a list in their menu but I concentrated in the "tusok-tusok" first... :) [rice meals to follow... :D] Well, to start with, their idea is to re-create Hong Kong's Famous Street Foods; having Hong Kong style noodles with several choices of skewers (served either deep fried or with curry sauce). Given that, I requested mine to be deep fried then I asked for curry sauce... :D Haha! #bestOFbothWORLDS :D

The Chicken Rice Shop, Nihonbashitei and Chilis [PBA Semis - 7.11-7.13.2012]

Hello There! :)

Having my brother-in-law work for a team (currently Meralco Bolts) in PBA has its perks... :) One of which is being able to watch games for free...of course, its always an advantage when your elder sister is really loving and generous (AND RICH) because you don't have to worry that much about how much you'll be spending for dinner... :) But hey, I'm already working so I also give my fair share of "libres". Hehe! #nocomputationsneeded

Anyway, we really enjoy watching basketball games not only because its free or because we enjoy it, but its more on the "bonding" or "together-time" we have and spend with each other. [My elder sister lives in her home with her own family so we don't really get to see her everyday unlike we used to, so these opportunities really mean a lot... :)
