Eating @ Mr. Choi Kitchen... :)

Hello there! :)

So far, with all the chinese restaurants (or all the restaurants that serves this dish) that i've tried, Mr. Choi Kitchen delivers the best tasting HAKAO/HAKAW/HAR GOW (steamed shrimp dumpling) -- or atleast their branch in Waltermart Makati [2008].

Har gow is a traditional Chinese dumpling served in dim sum. It is listed at number 34 on World's 50 most delicious foods readers' poll complied by CNN Go in 2011.       Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Har_gow

 *Steaming Hot Hakao*

And of course, this wouldn't be complete if not with my "toyo-mansi-chili" mixture... :D

We also ordered other dishes... :) Please see images below with my critique (general; detailed critique next time)... :D [Yes?? Ako na!] #me.already

*Dim Sum Platter*
 *Steamed Wonton - juicy... :)*
*Fried Wonton - having it fried added good flavour*
*Fried Gyoza - another way of eating gyoza*
*Japanese Style Siomai - second best tasting (1st would be the hakao :D)*
--For some reason, the nori wrapper really compliments the siomai--
#iloveit
 *Steamed Siomai - uniquely good*
*Steamed Hakao - Do you even have to ask?? :D*
*Fried Spring Roll - The vegetables are really crunchy so it's-all-good... :D*
*Rice Topping of Soy Chicken and Pork Asado*
--The soy chicken is as usual, but it really tastes like it doesn't have MSG in it #aREALLYgoodTHING--
*Rice Topping of Soy Chicken and Pork Asado*
--Pork Asado, I like it... :) Tastes like chinese asado; plus points on it being not that sweet.. :D--
*My Favorite Condiment - Ginger Sauce [in equivalence to toyo-mansi-chili]*
*Hello there Calamansi... :D*

Until next time! :) Enjoy and God bless! :)

Eating @ Dennis, The Grill Boy... :D

Hello there! :)

Great tasting pinoy dishes with unlimited rice............that's what I call "SULIT SARAP!" :D #takawmuch

Nowadays, "unlimited rice"-serving shops are a hype. Why do you think so? Is it because the consumer's appetite is really big? Or is it because of the idea that with unlimited rice, things are much more worth paying for? Another can be because people are being so "matipid" that with a lot of rice, they're hunger are taken care of (some people are rice eaters--personally I eat more "ulam" than rice) and at the same time, their wallets are intact. Well, for whatever reason each one has, I bet majority are unknowingly thankful for the person/group/company that started the "UNLI RICE" trend... :) #manythankstoyou

I've eaten here for several times already and there are 2 dishes that I love the most. One is fried to its crispiest state while the other is marinated then grilled to perfection... #yumyumyum

Wanna know what those 2 dishes are? :) Here you go...............................................

DISH 1:
***Fried to it's crispiest state, Lechon Kawali... :)***

Forgive my image, that was the time when I already removed the fat then retained the crispy skin... :D #heartattackalert

Their Lechon Kawali is accompanied by a cup of hot, steaming garlic rice, about 40grams of liver sauce [yes?? talagang may measurement?? Hehe!] and a tablespoon of pickled unripe papaya (or "atchara" as we call it here in the Philippines).

DISH 2:
***Grilled to perfection, Grilled Liempo... :)***

Together with a hot, steaming cup of java rice, a tablespoon of atchara and their grilled liempo is their special sauce. IT'S REALLY GOOD [though its shouting fat and preservatives, a little amount wouldn't kill you right?? :D]. #hellothereDIET

Below you can see images of 2 more dishes we tried, the interior of the place and so on... :)

 ***Crispy Fried Breaded Chicken***
 ***Pakbet***

--"THE Holy Grail"....Kidding! :D It's The Heavenly BUCKET full of UNLI RICE... :D--
 --Gravy--
--Fish Sauce with Key Lime and Chili Pepper--
--Special Sauce--

Until next time! :) Enjoy and God bless! :)

Mister Donut's Burger Rice Meal

Hello there! :)

I bought a dish at one of Mister Donut's Dine-In shop to feed my heart <3... :) I'm so happy with how it tastes like... :) Just like what the General Manager of Mister Donut (Sir Jerome) said, "It's exactly how it should taste like." :)

The rice was filling, the mixed veggies added color and texture, the patties were juicy, the sauce was perfect and the caramelized onion complemented and completed the rice bowl. In total, the dish was spot on! :)

Please please try... :) I assure you, you'll never regret it! :) In fact, you'll definitely come back for more... :) ---goes well with Mister Donut's great tasting brewed coffee <3 #veryhappyandsatisfied

Until next time! :) Enjoy and God bless! :)
